As stated in previous posts the information, in Italy, the project GalaxyZoo are not widely used except for skinny sidebars on some magazines and websites specializzati.Ho thought so, as before, to write a post only in Italian.

As just
Said in previous posts the information, in Italy, on GalaxyZoo are not very common except litt som on the arcticle and specialized magazines and websites.I thougth I know, as before, to write to post only in Italian.
The latest evolution of the original project consists GalaxyZoo GalaxyZoo Hubble .
In particular, the method and the classification system is derived from that of GalaxyZoo2 and requires too many clicks from the original GalaxyZoo1 .
The image used this time did not come from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey but from the Hubble Space Telescope. The images are more detailed and, thanks to the different characteristics of the HST, "look" as far away in space.
As with the previous purpose is to gather information on the configuration of the galaxies and their exceptions. The possibilities offered by the HST to see "further" and then go "back in time" will provide information useful to the study of galaxy evolution. It will be possible to investigate the galaxies merging together (Merging Galaxies) and understand, for example by their number, what percentage have contributed to the formation of galaxies today.
As usual there is a page where you learn how to participate ( How to take part) and which explains the key features of each, and several examples are presented. Compared to GalaxyZoo2, shown in a previous post , have been added more choices to classification.
particularly interesting in that page, the videos that show examples for the recognition of gravitational lenses ( These lenses are and These lenses are not ).
are always present the forum original project, where you can ask questions, report curiosity, a lot to learn and "know" the zooities and a blog where follow the evolution of the project and results achieved by members of the project.
To participate, like other projects are not required scientific knowledge or special skills.
The contribution of all, even a few classifications, it is important and advice, as always, is to try.
