Zooniverse - The Evolution (Italian)

As stated in previous posts the information, in Italy, the project GalaxyZoo are not widely used except sidebars on some of skinny magazines and websites specializzati.Ho thought so, as before, write a post only in Italian.

just As Said in previous posts the information, in Italy, on GalaxyZoo are not very common except the litt arcticle on som and specialized magazines and websites.I thougth I know, as before, to write a post only in Italian.

The project has its roots in good old GalaxyZoo again, starting in July 2007.
The popularity and the large number of participants have made it successful and its continuation with other related projects, more and astronomical character.

Zoouniverse born to be "home", as defined in official website, the project of "citizen science "biggest, most popular and most successful ( quote from the official site: " The Zooniverse is home to the Internet's largest, most popular and successful Most citizen science projects. ") .

Zoouniverse is therefore a portal through which access to all ongoing projects and to participate.

Currently active projects are:

- Galaxy Hubble Zoo, a natural continuation of Galaxy Zoo 2;

- Stormwatch Solar, solar activity;

- Galaxy Zoo Mergers, on the simulation of interactions between galaxies;

- Supernova Galaxy Zoo, for the detection of supernova.

- Moon Zoo, for the identification of lunar craters


As with previous projects do not need to be a scientist or have special knowledge of astronomy to participate.
